The Story Behind Timeline Kids

Timeline Kids, Our Story of
Suffering and Hope

In June 2022, days after the birth of their daughter, Josie Grace. Shelby suffered a labor-induced cardiac arrest while driving herself to the emergency room. By a miracle, rescue workers found her by the roadside and resuscitated her. She was in a coma for a week and woke up with brain function but suffered an anoxic brain injury. After months of rehab, Shelby recovered and today is almost completely healed. The events of 2022 shaped the Slaughter family as they faced tragedy, healing, grief, suffering, and hope. God began to restore their hearts through family Bible times centered around biblical hope. This instilled a passion for teaching children about resurrection, the return of the Lord, and the restoration of all things. These teachings are now available to children’s ministry leaders and parents to equip their children with the hope of a Kingdom that can’t be shaken.

Produced By A Family

Timeline Kids isn’t just family-centered, it’s been created by a family. All of the videos, activities, lessons, coloring sheets, designs, branding, and websites have been created by the Slaughters. This curriculum will engage your children in a special way because it’s been created with children.

Our Beliefs

A Faithful Witness of The Gospel

Timeline Kids Curriculum is not produced by any particular denomination or theological tradition. We strive to maintain a faithful witness to the Gospel that Jesus' earliest disciples heard and taught. The Apostles Creed is one of the oldest confessions of Christian faith and it serves as a concise summary of our beliefs.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the global Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
